Dr. Louis-Philippe Germain is a certified plastic surgeon with a fellowship in Breast and Cosmetic surgery. He is fluently bilingual.
Dr. Germain's philosophy is simple and obvious right from the first consultation: patients must be listened to and respected. Dr. Germain understands that the first meeting with a medical specialist may be unsettling so, no effort is spared to make you feel completely at ease.
Dr. Germain is not a salesman, and will not try to sell you a surgery. He will know how to answer your questions and guide you in the right direction according to your needs. There are no obligations. It is up to you to decide when and if you are ready for treatment, whether it is a surgical procedure or a non-surgical intervention, such as laser treatments, or injections (Botox , fillers). Many non-invasive treatments with minimal downtime are available at Incognito Medispa; the medical spa and laser centre he and his colleague have developed and continued to grow over the years.
Dr. Germain is a plastic surgeon certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is also eligible for certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He started his practice in 2005 working in the Montreal region at the McGill University Health Center and at Charles-LeMoyne Hospital.
Dr. Germain completed a Bachelor's degree in Toxicology (H.BSc) at the University of Toronto in 1996. He studied medicine at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 2000 and then specialized in plastic surgery at McGill University in Montreal, from 2000 to 2005. After starting his practice in Montreal, Dr. Germain completed a fellowship in breast and cosmetic surgery in Banff, Alberta, under the supervision of the world renowned surgeon Dr. Elizabeth Hall-Findlay. Following his fellowship, he returned to his practice in Montreal.
In November 2006, Dr. Germain joined Dr. Thompson and together they created the Gatineau Cosmetic Surgery Clinique. They have also created Incognito Medispa and Laser Centre, an extension of the Gatineau Cosmetic Surgery Clinique.
